The proof · Ocean Park, Washington

We don't advise from theory. We built one, and we're scaling.

The Resthouse is a two-bedroom cottage on the Long Beach Peninsula, and the first property in the Red Hearth Retreats portfolio. Closing table to a permitted, bookable listing in four months. Every recommendation STR Foundry makes traces back to a decision we paid for ourselves.

The permit application went in eleven days after the renovation started and three months before it finished. Sequencing that pair correctly is the difference between a launch and a lost season.

How and who

Most of it we did ourselves.

Courtyard uplighting, interior design and build, landscaping, furnishing, and launch were ours. Everywhere the job called for a licensed trade, a specialist, or a professional already embedded in this market, we hired local. These are the seats a first-time owner has to fill, roughly in the order you fill them.

Build
